Explore FRMZ polarised sunglasses for New Zealand: six colourways, lightweight TR90 frames and a straight-top, one-piece shield lens. These polarised sunnies are NZ$79.99 a pair. Choose understated black or a mirrored finish.
Free shipping on every New Zealand order, including rural addresses. No minimum spend.
What makes a shield different
A shield has one continuous lens across the front of the frame instead of two separate lenses. Every FRMZ shield shares the same straight-top, one-piece design, so the front is clean and uninterrupted. It is a bold shape, and it works best when you want your sunglasses to be part of the look.
All six FRMZ shield sunglasses have polarised lenses with UV400 protection and lightweight TR90 frames. Choose a plain black lens or one of five mirrored colourways without changing the straight-top, one-piece shield design.
Choosing your colourway
For the quietest option, start with the Black FRMZ: a black frame and a black lens, with no mirror finish. The other five add a mirrored lens. Black & Blue has a black frame with turquoise/aqua arm tips and a blue mirrored lens. Black & Purple and Pink & Black sit in black frames, while Turquoise & Orange and Baby Blue & Red bring colour to the frame as well. The shape and the TR90 frame are the same on all six, so the choice comes down to colour. To compare lens finishes side by side, see our mirrored sunglasses.
What comes with every order
Each FRMZ order includes your sunglasses, a microfibre cleaning cloth, a protective pouch and an FRMZ presentation box. Every order is quality-checked before it is dispatched.
Free shipping across New Zealand

Shield sunglasses FAQs
What are shield sunglasses?
A shield has one continuous lens across the front of the frame instead of two separate lenses. All six FRMZ shields share a straight-top, one-piece design and a lightweight TR90 frame.
Which FRMZ shield is the most understated?
The Black FRMZ, with a black frame and a black lens. It is the only non-mirrored pair in the range. The other five have mirrored lenses, and all six share the same shape.
How long does delivery take in New Zealand?
We process orders within 1–2 business days. After dispatch, NZ Post delivery takes an estimated 1–3 business days to the North Island and 2–4 business days to the South Island, with an additional 1–5 business days for rural addresses. Delivery times are estimates.
What does polarised mean?
Polarised lenses are designed to cut glare from reflective surfaces such as water and wet roads. You may also see it spelled polarized. All six FRMZ shield sunglasses have polarised lenses.
Are FRMZ sunglasses polarised with UV400 protection?
Yes. All six FRMZ sunglasses have polarised lenses with UV400 protection, including the plain black pair and all five mirrored colourways.
Polarised or polarized sunglasses: is there a difference?
Polarised sunglasses and polarized sunglasses describe the same lens feature. Polarised is the usual New Zealand spelling; polarized is the American spelling. The same applies to polarised sunnies and polarized sunnies. Polarisation reduces reflected glare; UV protection is a separate lens feature. Read our guide to polarised sunglasses.
